The Lavender Series | Easy Lavender Bath and Foot Soak

Easy Lavender Foot Soak

Here’s a super easy recipe for soothing achy muscles and tired feet. Combine lavender and Epsom salt for a natural healing remedy that will relax all of your aches and pains away. Epsom salt is a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate. Some of the countless health benefits include relaxing the nervous system, curing skin problems, soothing back pain and aching limbs, easing muscle strain, healing cuts, treating cold and congestion, and drawing toxins from the body.

Directions

Simply add the Epsom salt, the lavender buds, and the lavender essential oil to your glass jar. Screw on the lid, and give the contents a vigorous shake to mix thoroughly.

For an extra touch, I used water-based ink to stamp a botanical image to a piece of card stock. I punched the image out with a 2″ circle punch. I then cut a piece of twine, threaded it through a small hole I punched in the tag, and tied the tag to the glass jar.

How to use the Soak

Add half the mixture to a foot soaking tub filled with warm water. Sit back, and enjoy!
